It's Great To Be So Busy

I haven’t had much time to dedicate to updating my own site, but all for good reasons. These past few months have been incredible for SixOneFive, with projects being started and finished all the time. Lots of new clients from the US and abroad.

I’m currently working on a site for Veracruz.com.  This is a big one folks: forums, city portals, classifieds, job board, and much more.  It’s taking a little longer to develop than expected but I am still happy with the progress so far!

The Bluelight Theme is still moving units on ThemeForest consistently, and I couldn’t be more happy about that.  As of today, the HTML and Wordpress templates have brought in $18,000 total.  That’s a lot of dough for just two templates!  Between client projects, I’m also whipping together a few more themes for ThemeForest just to keep the passive income coming in.  I really wish I had more time to make templates.  I love having the freedom of sitting down with a blank slate and creating something from scratch.

London vacation is coming up in August, and I’m long overdue for a vacation.

Hopefully I can find some time in my near future to start a real blog about my design/coding/freelance adventures.  I think many would be interested in the process of how I went from zero to full-time freelancer over the past few years.  I have lots of advice of what not to do your first time around .
